Who We Are

iBwave Solutions, Inc. is an international in-building wireless software company that delivers unique planning and design solutions. iBwave offers industry-specific planning and design software to answer the needs of the in-building wireless industry. RF Engineers can take in-building network design beyond prediction to improve accuracy and standardize designs that are shared across the in-building community.

We are a privately held company that was founded in December 2003. Despite our relatively short existence and presence in the in-building wireless industry, we have carved ourselves a unique niche on the worldwide map with a client base composed of more than a 100 clients from over 40 countries across five continents. Our international success has recently been noticed when we were awarded the gold medal for best Small Enterprise at the 14th edition of the National Bank of Canada’s SMEs awards at both regional and provincial levels.

History

iBwave was founded in 2003 to answer the urgent need for an all-around tool to help simplify in-building project management for operators, integrators and equipment manufacturers. iBwave’s founders created a multi-tasking indoor solution after assessing that companies in the in-building industry were experiencing important revenue losses trying to fix multiple errors in their indoor projects caused by the arduous design and planning process. Prior to iBwave, its founders were always given the budget to purchase a tool like RF-vu but none that existed met the specific criteria of a multi-tasking solution. Thus, RF-vu was initially designed to answer the urgent need of the Canadian in-building market for an automated tool. After its successful launch at both regional and national levels, it was clear that this need transcended to a worldwide level where foreign countries were urgently demanding an in-building design and planning solution as well. The uniqueness of our software along with a fast pace growing market explains why we grew so rapidly in just four years.
