Optimization module

The Optimization Module is an add-on module to iBwave Design that takes in-building design to the next level by bridging the gap between indoor and outdoor wireless networks to fully leverage and integrate indoor designs with outdoor signals and interference. It is used in combination with the Propagation Module.

The Optimization Module helps you design more effectively and analyze data throughput to support bandwidth-intensive applications on the latest generations of smartphones, such as video and audio streaming, gaming, Internet browsing, voice over IP and email.

The Optimization Module supports data centric technologies such as HSPA, LTE and WIMAX. The module is also compatible with indoor protocols to enhance mobile network performances and increase interoperability with existing wireless standards.

Measure the wireless signal before designing

Extrapolate the outdoor wireless signal inside the building to estimate and view signal quality before designing and planning in-building wireless networks or to determine whether an indoor system is required. Prioritize indoor areas that need the best indoor coverage based on design requirements.

Analyze signal quality and data throughput to design and plan for more than just voice coverage to meet today’s needs for enhanced technology and data. Create output maps on the in-building system and outdoor interference to determine transmission speed for wireless networks being designed for multiple technologies.
