We have just released iBwave Unity version 2.2. The new version features a storage vault to increase project synchronization, a new project compliancy report and the much anticipated iBwave Unity on the cloud. Free for existing customers under AMS, the new version gives everyone within the ecosystem simple access to the network management project platform.

Storage Vault Synchronization
iBwave Unity Vault is installed at designers’ workstations to ensure all projects completed using iBwave Design are always stored in iBwave Unity. Users can also use the vault to temporarily store their projects while working offline. Projects in the vault offer three levels of warnings based on the number of days the file is left unsaved in iBwave Unity. For instance, users are free to store their project files on their local PC for a predetermined period. After this time, projects will be flagged to encourage users to save the latest files on Unity. The user will be led to save the files back on iBwave Unity before continuing with their work. Grace periods and warnings are customizable to fit your organization’s policies. iBwave Unity Vault is only available on the iBwave Unity Enterprise version.
Project Compliancy Report
A project compliancy and project compliance details report has been added to iBwave Unity to facilitate the review process of project designs. Users can quickly view the approval status of projects, verify whether the latest database of components is being used, and ensure that projects only include components that have been approved.
