JOB PURPOSE

The Marketing Director, iBwave (IBW) is a critical part of the Commercial leadership team responsible for developing marketing strategies and managing execution of the entire Marketing organization with the objective to deliver IBW’s key commercial and business goals.

Position responsibilities include promoting the IBW brand and products, launching new products and services, building measurable demand for the portfolio, and managing customers to our solutions and through the qualification process.

Most importantly, the Marketing Director will inject strong creativity, energy and innovative thinking into the Marketing team and functions, as well as across the broader organization. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, manage, and maintain an effective Marketing organization and ecosystem that represent best-in-class for our business and marketplace.
  • Develop and execute an annual and long-term strategic marketing plan that enables the business to deliver vital few imperatives and key objectives.
  • Lead all marketing programs and campaigns from concept-creation through execution and evaluation in-line with the strategic plan.
  • Coordinate messaging & positioning, competitive differentiation, and development of compelling storylines for taking products to market (both existing and new product launches) through collateral, training materials, pitch decks, and other sales playbooks/tools.
  • Manage and maintain an established budget while maximizing ROI.
  • Provide administrative oversight of all marketing programs by validating legal compliance, providing communications to key stakeholders, and documentation of process and approvals.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BS/BA required and MBA degree desired, preferably from top tier institutions.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant marketing experience in a B2B environment ideally with experience in a service or solutions oriented businesses or technology.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to assess complex market landscape and create focused, integrated Marketing plan.
  • Ability to create and implement Marketing plans, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in demand generation and opportunity qualification via marketing tools and solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with an ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts cross-functionally to achieve positive end results.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
  • A content and strategy orientation to marketing.

DESIRED / PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balances sheets, and ROI models.
  • An individual with entrepreneurial orientation who is able to apply creative and innovative approaches to marketing functions.
  • Strong analytical and communications skills to build compelling business cases in order to win internal support for the Marketing programs.
  • Understanding of agile approach to project management.
  • Experience in software marketing and sales.
  • Understanding of the RF technology and marketplace.
