The Manager of the Sales Engineering group is responsible for leading the America’s technical team by focusing on a consultative solution support of sales opportunities, and supporting the sales team on proposals, delivering technical demonstration, providing technical training to clients, gathering customer requirements, leading special indoor and outdoor design work presented to customers, acting as the bridge between Marketing, Product, and R&D teams.

The role is responsible for managing tactical workflow and strategic leadership for the Americas by prioritizing technical engagements, team development and alignment of organizational capabilities in support of new solutions, platforms, and products across the industry verticals.


  • Sales team collaboration by creating the technical strategy and execution of plans that contribute to the acceleration and achievement of the America’s revenue targets
  • Management and reporting of Field Opportunity Support requests
  • SE assignment, prioritization, and engagement, with oversight of the Opportunity Support Requests’ qualification, expectations, and task ownership.
  • Enablement of technical initiatives, training, SE demos & PoCs, webinars, events, and workshops.
  • Technical support to the Sales, Marketing, Training, Product, and R&D teams
  • Participating in RF Engineering strategic initiatives  (product testing, special projects, new features)
  • Understanding, documenting, and prioritizing customers’ feature requirements
  • Developing best practices, technology positioning, and field/market advocacy by embracing partnership with sales, marketing, and PLM leading to a more integrated go-to-market model.


  • Self-motivated, self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills to create a dynamic engineering team
  • Demonstrated strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level decision makers.
  • Fluency in English is a MUST, other language skills will be considered a very strong asset
  • Ability to manage and prioritize assigned tasks to meet deadlines, highlighting risks
  • RF engineering experience (In-building & Outdoor design, DAS, Small Cell, CRAN, Wi-Fi design)
  • Experience using iBwave’s software suite: Design, Wi-Fi, FiberPass, Mobile, Unity
  • In-depth experience in designing, deploying and optimizing wireless in-building & outdoor networks (passive and active distribution)
  • Knowledge of various equipment and equipment vendors catering to In-Building networks
  • Understand radio wave propagation theory
  • Understand differentiators between CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, EDGE, GPRS, TDMA, iDEN, WiFi, LTE, 5G NR, IoT and other protocols
  • Excellent computer and software skills (Infovista Planet experience a plus)
  • Level 1 and Level 2 in iBwave Certification
  • CWNP certification a plus
  • Ability to travel a is must (up to 75%)
